community support to restore the balance of safety
We believe that seed work requires assuring the safety of all members of our community. While it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to hurt one. Accountability in our work is essential, and we work to continuously examine how to intentionally build safer spaces.
For us, it starts with how we shape our access to teachings for young members of our communities. While we live through deeply rebuilding processes, it's important to recognize instances of gender-based violence, and inequities that challenge our traditional roles in the community. Preventing violence requires self-examination and community accountability. We hope for you a healing journey.
Our Story
As indigenous womxn, we've experienced violence. The effects of this, extend beyond us as individuals. But has deeply affected, our respective families, and communities alike. While the healing process hasn't been linear, we are blessed to have a community to hold. We wish to support you and let you know that your story matters. You are sacred. And we believe you.
